I found two 1950´s armchairs in natural sizes, when we
visited our big antique shop the other day. The owner
let me take photos of them. They look a lot like two
of my miniature armshairs that I have in my Lundby
dollhouses. I think it is fun to compare them to each
other………

This is a real sized Bat chair from the 1950´s

(läderlappsfåtölj) that I found in our antiques

shop, Möbelmagasinet in Katrineholm. It can

be folded like an umbrella.

This is some of the toys I have made for the 
dollshousedolls. The little girl can sit and stand 
by herself without falling.

This doll is 5,5 cm tall. The head is a wooden-pearl

and her hair is made of thin cotton yarn.

The body is made of fabric and steelwire. The

arms and legs are made of Fimo clay.

These three little Bears are made of extra fine

pipecleaners ment for hobby work. They are

4 cm tall.

The snake is made of  extra fine

pipecleaners ment for hobby work.

I have always loved my mothers old embroidered
cushions, so I made some in miniatures, for my
dollshouses.  It was fun to make them, because I
think they really looks like hers did, when I look
at them in the houses

These Potted Plants to hang on the
dollshouse walls is very easy to make.

The potts are made of Fimo clay, and for
the plants I used steelwire,  papertape
and paint. Just put small peaces of tape
on both sides of the wire and use a
scissor to form the leafs as you want
them and then paint them.

Here is some of the small miniatures, that I have
made of Fimo clay for my dollshouses. They are
very easy to make. Just form the clay to what 
you like it to be, and then burn it in your owen. 
The things must not be perfect to  look nice. Fun 
to make.

The towles are made of fabric. The soap, tooth-

paste, tootbrushes and cups are made of Fimo clay.

The toilett-paperholder is made of Fimo, a golden

wire and the paper is real soft paper. The sponge is

a real tiny sponge.

This is a small bowl with an apple, oranges and 

bananasand a bowl with cucumber and tomatos.

This is a cake that we call Dream Cake made of

Fimo clay. The two whisks are made of steel wires

and Fimo for the handles. For the pink one, I used

a spring from an old inkpen. It looks like the whisks

I am using.

Here is some more of the old Swedish Lundby/Lerro
furniture that I really like. Some of these furniture is
very hard to find in nice condition. The paint seems
to have dried on many of the furniture and is partly
falling of.

I love the "AB Lundby Leksaksfabrik in Lerum",
furnitures from year 1940´s - 1950´s.

This is a little "closer look" at the bedroom 
furniturethat I have in one of my old Lundby 
Doll´s Houses.These are from year 1947 and 
was on the marked forseveral years.

The prints on the textiles was typical 1940´-50´s

patterns that were used in different versions and

colours. Very pretty.

Bed with two small bed tables for the grown ups 

and a dressing table with a stool. 

Two smaller beds, perhaps for the teen-age 

children

Bed får the younger children. The size can bee

changed as the children grow up. Funny.
