PETITE PRINCESS ROYAL GRAND PIANO AND STOOL - COLLECTORS ITEM

Now I've finally found the "Petite Princess 
Royal Grand Piano and Stool." on Internet. 
The other day the postman came home to 
me with it. I'm so happy because I've 
been looking for several years without 
finding this on the Swedish auction sites. 
They are very rare here in Sweden. 

This is a part of the "Petite Princess 
Fantasy Furniture" by Ideal, whose 
dollhouse furniture is incredibly wellmade.

I like it partly because it has piano keys, 
that really looks like real keys. On the 
ones I have before, the keys are made ​​
of paper.   

I think this grand piano is so beautiful 
with the nice decor.    ♩ ♬  ♪ ♫

BOUGHT SOME DOLLHOUSE FURNITURE, DOLLS AND MINITURES SCALE 1:12

I have bought some I hope useful dollhouse 
things. I am happy because some of it I 
found here. There is no shop in this town 
that are selling miniatures for dollhoues, 
but now and than you can find some pieces 
in regular shops. 

Small useful things in the first photo that I 
will use when I am making more lamps. I
love these. 

Wanted some beautiful dolls, so I bought 

some heads with bodies and several hair-
pieces, instead of making new ones myself.
This is the first time I have bought these 
kind of halfmade?-dolls.

Some furniture. They are actually very well

made, even if they did not cost much.. I will

think about if I will make some Changes

with some of them.

And my favorite brand when it comes to

color, except for things that should be

chabby chick.

DONE WITH THE MIRROR WALLS FOR MY DOLLHOUSE BATHROOM AND CHANGED A WALL

Now I have done the work with the mirrors for the

walls in my dollhouse. They can stand by themselves.

I will ony attach them with some double sided tape.

Made a couple of tile walls also. They are white so I

decorated them a little.

I thought the bathroom was too small so I took

down a wall and moved it a bit, to get more space. .

I also had to repaint the back wall and redo two of

the floors. That was Hard work I can tell.

Since I took down the wall, I can now show you

how I hang doors in my doll houses. I only use two

steel pins to each door. "The door-frame was 

already there in this house".

*The upper hole in the wall above the door, must 

be the same length as the steel pin, so it can fall 

down into the hole in the door that is half size. 

Fasten the upper steel pin with a piece of tape, 
then insert the door. Then pull off the tape and the 
pin falls into the hole in the door *

*This description above applies if there is already 

an existing door frame attached, or if there is no 
frame at all that will  be used.= This makes it 
possible to change the door to another one if you 
want*

* If you build an entire new door frame to be inserted

 in the wall, insert the pins before you glue the door 

frame parts together. All holes must/can then be half 
as deep/long as steel pins length. *

There was little marks on the floor and the wall

surface after I took down the wall, and when that

happens, I use this kind of scrape. Useful for removing

old dried glue and other things. I have a special just

for hobby (and a similar one for my glass stove).

So now I can furnish and decorate the bathroom.

It will be fun.

MIRROR WALLS FOR MY DOLLHOUSE BATHROOM

Now I've finally got hold of very small mirror 

glass mosaic for the bathroom walls, in one of my

dollhouses that I want to change the look of. 

It is small mirrors and each piece are 2x2 cm. 

I will make loose walls that are removable

and attach them only with adhesive tape on 

the back of them. It will be fun to do this.

I bought me a new bathroom that is in scale 1:12.
I've been looking  for this type of tub for some time,
because I'm pretty tired of the old type. Now I will
make a change of one of my dollhouse bathrooms
entirely, but I will only use the bathtub, sink and
mirror. I think the toilet looks too old fashioned. I
will save it for another time. Now I have to give
some thought to how I want the bathroom to look
like.

Since we did not have a kitchen table for the new house,
I have renovated an old table. It looket very played with
and had a broken leg. I found out that I had four old
chairs that I like. I renovated the table so it looks the
same as them.  This is how it turned out!

I have made a sofa for the new  Lundby house.
I wantedto make a green one, and this is how
it turned out.I had some old material in green c
olour, that needed to be used.

I have also updated the "Lundby Balcony post"
with some new  photos.

I think this is a fun little story 
with reference to Droras Bavarian Furniture.

Not long ago Drora at blog-link: Droras minimundo, 
publisheda post of what she called “Bavarian
Furniture” that she had received as a gift.

I was sure that I had seen some of these furniture
before, so I looked in one of my old catalogues from
year 1998 and I found dollhouse furniture in the same
series as her Bavarian furniture, from year 1998.
Some of them looks like hers.They were sold by a
company for hobby material called "Direct Trade AB"
here in Sweden. It is a hobby/Internet and postorder
shop.

I think that it is fun that I remembered them and that I
have saved the catalogue all these years. But these
furniture  are special I must say. So it seems that
these kind of furniture was sold in more then one c
ountry. Don´t know the manufacturing country.

The style with the flowers and the patterns on the
furniture looks like the Swedish real sized old country
furniture called “Allmoge–Furniture”, from the 18^th
and 19^th centuries. These kind of furniture were build
and painted in a lot of villages and places in the
countryside by different local carpenters and
painters in Sweden at that time. All the painters had to
here own style, patterns and colours.They are now
collecting objects.

I know that a lot of the real sized furniture has been
bought by collectors.“all over the world” at antique
auctions. They love them. That is now a problem for
antique lovers in Sweden, because to many furniture
has left Sweden andthey are now in other countries.
A lot of them (for example), in the USA.

LUNDBY MINIATURE BATCHAIR AND A REAL SIZED BATCHAIR FROM THE 1950´S

I found two 1950´s armchairs in natural sizes, when we
visited our big antique shop the other day. The owner
let me take photos of them. They look a lot like two
of my miniature armshairs that I have in my Lundby
dollhouses. I think it is fun to compare them to each
other………

This is a real sized Bat chair from the 1950´s

(läderlappsfåtölj) that I found in our antiques

shop, Möbelmagasinet in Katrineholm. It can

be folded like an umbrella.

Here is some more of the old Swedish Lundby/Lerro
furniture that I really like. Some of these furniture is
very hard to find in nice condition. The paint seems
to have dried on many of the furniture and is partly
falling of.
