The little Sparrow who lives on my roof has
been gone all winter, but today she came
home again.
She sat up there and sang in the sunshine.
Welcome home, I say. But it is not spring yet...
*One time I was babysitting for one of the
kids to thislittle House Sparrow who lives on
top of my roof intothe gutter.
She was "flight training" her baby and
apparently hadsome errands to run, so she left
it on my windowsill for a whole quarter.
It sat there and watched me and was so cute,
so Ipicked up the camera. Here are pictures
of the kid ... Tree photos in one... *

What a great visitor on your windowsill! Was that little birdie not afraid of you? I love birds too (I ever will try to make a sparrow in miniature), so it was a pleasure for me to read your post about the house sparrow :D!!
