RESCUED A "LITTLE MISS GINGER" COSMOPOLITAN DOLL FROM A SAD FATE.

This "Little Miss Ginger" Cosmopolitan doll 
from the 1950's,  that I found in Sollentuna 
Fair in Stockholm, looked so miserable so I
bought her and rerooted her hair. It's 
actually a pretty tricky job.

Little Miss Ginger with white hair is quite 
rare, so I decided to save this doll from a 
sad fate. 

She looked so sad before she got the new
hair, poor thing. I sewed a new dress for 
her in the same style as the original dresses 
and I also made a necklace. 

Now I think she looks like a real nice lady. 
Glad I saved her.

condition when I bought her.

MR AND MRS CACO'S GOT A NEW BED.

I finally got time to do some new things 
for one of my dollhouses. I have made 
a bedspread and pillows to an iron bed 
that had for a long time, but not used 
before. 

In the photos you can see that Mr. and 
Mrs. Caco inspects what I have done. 
Hope they are happy with it.

Guess Mr. Caco probably likes the pillow 
that does not have any lace best! I made 
it especially for him. ♥

GAVE ONE OF MY 1:12 DOLLHOUSE DOLLS NEW CLOTHES.

I have sewn some new simple everyday
clothes to one of my homemade girls' dolls.
I thought she could use some new, now that
it's spring. She seems very happy that I made
them.

Made them of cloth with colors that make 
all the clothes fit together.

Nowadays I do not sew so much, but before I 
sewed a lot of my clothes from 12 years old 
until I was about 30 years. Designed and sewed 
even my niece wedding gown and christening 
gown for her children.

I had some fun... This video gave me a 
laugh! Especially "the end with the tiny 
tiny one"..... ha. ha.. Maybe the smallest 
computer in the world!

BOUGHT SOME DOLLHOUSE FURNITURE, DOLLS AND MINITURES SCALE 1:12

I have bought some I hope useful dollhouse 
things. I am happy because some of it I 
found here. There is no shop in this town 
that are selling miniatures for dollhoues, 
but now and than you can find some pieces 
in regular shops. 

Small useful things in the first photo that I 
will use when I am making more lamps. I
love these. 

Wanted some beautiful dolls, so I bought 

some heads with bodies and several hair-
pieces, instead of making new ones myself.
This is the first time I have bought these 
kind of halfmade?-dolls.

Some furniture. They are actually very well

made, even if they did not cost much.. I will

think about if I will make some Changes

with some of them.

And my favorite brand when it comes to

color, except for things that should be

chabby chick.

ELIN HÅKANSON DOCKSAMLING, DOCKSKÅPS OCH TEXTILSAMLING, ELIN HÅKANSON DOLL, DOLLHOUSE COLLECTION, KATRINEHOLM

Elin Håkansons docksamling är en antik dock-
dockskåps och textil samling som tillhört Elin 
Håkanson 1890-1962. Hon var en högt respekterad 
person i Katrineholm. Samlingen donerades till 
Katrineholms Kommun i Sverige. Tyvärr visas den 
inte på grund av brist på utställnings lokal. Dessa 
foton är från år 1996 och jag har fått lov att få 
publicera dom. Det här är bara en liten del av 
hennes samling.

This is an antique doll-dollhouse and textile 
collection that belonged to Elin Håkanson 
1890-1962. She was a highly respected person in 
Katrineholm. This was donated to Katrineholms 
Municipality in Sweden. Unfortunately, it is not 
shown due to the lack of exhibition space. These 
photos are from 1996 and I got permission to 
publish them. This is a small part of her collection.

BARBIE AND KEN "MATTEL DOLLS" IN MINIATURE

Since I also am a Barbie collector, I think it is rather 
funny to own these tiny little miniature dolls from 
Mattel. The dolls are only 4,8 and 5,2 cm. The two 
with the boxes are no easy to find. 
The doll  in the red bathingsuit is Skippers doll from
the 1960´s.

"Nice that the Lightbox display" for photo 
    viewing works again. It makes it so much 
    easier to look at everyone's beautiful photos!

MINIATURE BED IN COMPARISON WITH A BED IN REAL SIZE AND A BASKET WITH A KNITTING

I find it funny that people laugh when they discover

that a  bed that I have here at home, are also to be

find as a miniature in one of my dollhouses. Ha, ha...
